Alexandra Fiser, MSN FNP-C

Dr. Idalia Rivera-Matos

Dr. Idalia Rivera-Matos received her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan and completed her residency at the University Pediatric Hospital in San Juan. She then completed her fellowship at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston.

 

Board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Rivera-Matos has been in practice since 1991. Her clinical interests include immunizations, preventive care, infectious diseases, attention deficit disorder/ attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, nutrition and travel medicine for her patients and their families.

 

Dr. Rivera-Matos wants her patients to feel as if they are speaking to a friend or relative. She is reassuring and gives them confidence. She takes her own after hours calls and sees walk-ins every day. She makes herself available for sick patients or whenever she is needed. She treats patients from newborns through age 16 and speaks Spanish.

 

A Clear Lake resident, Dr. Rivera-Matos has three grown children. Away from her clinic, she enjoys kayaking, fishing, movies and dancing.

Taylor A. Little, FNP-C is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Pediatric Primary Care. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Texas at Austin and then went on to earn her Family Nurse Practitioner Degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She began her nursing career at Memorial Hermann in the Texas Medical Center working in Orthopedic Trauma for 3 and a half years.

 

She completed her clinical rotations for her Master’s degree in the Downtown Houston and Pasadena areas. She has been working for Nasa Pediatrics for 2 years.She loves working with children and getting to know the families that care for them. She is passionate about educating her patients on healthy practices and prevention of disease in a holistic manner, as well as focusing on the mental health of her patients.

 

She is originally from Houston and currently lives in the Pasadena area with her

husband of 2 years. She is an active member of Houston Area Nurse Practitioners and the Pasadena Running Club. In her free time, she likes to run, do yoga, play music with her family, spend time with her husband, travel, learn, and watch movies.

Taylor A. Little

Alexandra Fiser is a family nurse practitioner with specialization in pediatrics. She earned her nursing degree at UTHealth and her master’s degree at the University of Cincinnati. She is certified and practices under the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.  Alexandra started her nursing career in 2012 at St. Joseph Medical Center downtown and Memorial Hermann in the Texas medical Center where she worked as a high-risk labor and delivery nurse.

 

Alexandra loves educating her patients about chronic conditions and showing her patients how easy it is to empower themselves and become a contributor to their own health and wellness. Alexandra believes in taking her patients cultural view of the world and using it in the healing process; she believes that is when each patient is able to experience an individualized treatment plan.

 

Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico Alexandra has been in Houston for the last seven years and considers it home- she lives downtown with her husband and her two dogs. You can almost always find her bike riding, participating in hot yoga, and traveling during her time away from the office.

Janine Espiritu is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and is certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She received her Masters in Science of Nursing from Case Western Reserve University, majoring in Pediatric Primary Care. She completed her clinical work at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. She has worked as an RN on an inpatient pediatric unit in Ohio caring for children with complex medical needs.

 

Janine loves working with the pediatric population and aims to build good relationships with patients, their family, and caregivers. She believes in the the importance of working as a team when it comes to a child’s growth, development, and health. She has an interest in preventative care and aims to encourage patients to develop healthy habits at a young age so they can carry these habits into adulthood.

 

Janine grew up in San Antonio, TX and moved to Houston in 2018 and is happy to be back in Texas. She lives in the city with her Great Dane puppy. Her interests include singing, trying new foods, hiking, checking out outdoor spaces, and spending time with her family.
