DR. IDALIA RIVERA-MATOS

Dr. Idalia Rivera-Matos received her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan and completed her residency at the University Pediatric Hospital in San Juan. She then completed her fellowship at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston.
She has provided service for the Houston -Clear Lake and Pasadena for over more than 15 years .

 

Board-certified in pediatrics, Dr. Rivera-Matos has been in practice since 1991. Her clinical interests include immunizations, preventive care, infectious diseases, attention deficit disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, nutrition and travel medicine for her patients and their families.
 
Dr. Rivera-Matos wants her patients to feel as if they are speaking to a friend or relative. She is reassuring and gives them confidence. She takes her after-hours calls and sees walk-ins every day. She makes herself available for sick patients or whenever she is needed. She treats patients from newborns through age 16 and speaks Spanish.
